    Product Details
Molecular formula: CuCO3.Cu(OH)2 Molecular weight: 221.11
CAS No.: 12069-69-1 HS Code: 2836999000
    Nature and use
Basic copper carbonate (CuCO3. Cu(OH)2) is a peacock green fine amorphous powder. The density is 3.85, the melting point is 200 degrees of decomposition, insoluble in cold water and alcohol, soluble in acid and the formation of the corresponding copper salt, soluble in cyanide, sodium hydroxide, ammonium salt and alkali carbonate aqueous solution and the formation of copper complexes. When boiled in an alkali metal carbonate solution, brown copper oxide is generated and decomposed into black copper oxide at 2000C. Unstable in hydrogen sulfide atmosphere. According to the ratio of CuO:CO2:H2O, there are more than ten kinds of compounds in basic copper carbonate. In industrial production, its molecular formula is CuC
    Packing specification
Inner PE outer three-layer kraft paper bag, 25 KG/bag; Packaging can also be customized according to user requirements.
    first aid measures
Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing and rinse with running water.
Eye contact: Lift the eyelid and flush with flowing water or normal saline. See a doctor.
Inhalation: out of the field to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. See a doctor.
Intake: Drink plenty of warm water to induce vomiting. See a doctor.
    Emergency treatment of leakage
Isolate the leak contaminated area and restrict access. It is recommended that emergency personnel wear dust mask (full face mask) and protective clothing. Avoid dust, sweep it carefully, put it in a bag and move it to a safe place. If there is a large amount of leakage, cover it with plastic cloth and canvas. Collect and recycle or transport to waste treatment site for disposal.
    Operation Precautions
Closed operation, local exhaust. Operators must be specially trained and strictly abide by the operating procedures. Operators are advised to wear self-priming filter dust masks, chemical safety goggles, anti-penetration overalls and rubber gloves. Avoid creating dust. Avoid contact with reducing agents and alkali metals. Lightly loaded and unloaded during handling to prevent packaging damage. Equipped with leakage emergency treatment equipment. Empty containers may leave harmful substances.
    Storage Considerations
Basic copper carbonate should be stored in a cool, ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat source. Should be stored separately with reducing agent, alkali metal, edible chemicals, avoid mixed storage. The storage area shall be provided with suitable materials to contain spills.
