Nature and use
Copper oxide (CuO) is a black oxide of copper, slightly amphoteric, slightly hygroscopic. The relative molecular mass is 79.545, the density is 6.36.9g/cm3, and the melting point is 1326 ℃. Insoluble in water and ethanol, soluble in acid, chloride and potassium cyanide solution, slowly dissolved in ammonia solution, can react with strong alkali. Copper oxide can provide customized services according to different industries and different requirements of customers.

first aid measures
Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing and rinse with running water.
Eye contact: Lift the eyelid and flush with flowing water or normal saline. See a doctor.

Intake: Drink plenty of warm water to induce vomiting. See a doctor.
Emergency treatment of leakage
Isolate the leak contaminated area and restrict access. It is recommended that emergency personnel wear dust mask (full face mask) and protective clothing. Avoid dust, sweep it carefully, put it in a bag and move it to a safe place. If there is a large amount of leakage, cover it with plastic cloth and canvas. Operation Precautions
Closed operation, local exhaust. Operators must be specially trained and strictly abide by the operating procedures. Operators are advised to wear self-priming filter dust masks, chemical safety goggles, anti-penetration overalls and rubber gloves. Avoid creating dust. Avoid contact with reducing agents and alkali metals. Lightly loaded and unloaded during handling to prevent packaging damage. Equipped with leakage emergency treatment equipment. Empty containers may leave harmful substances.
Storage Considerations
Store in a cool, ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat source. Should be stored separately with reducing agent, alkali metal, edible chemicals, avoid mixed storage. The storage area shall be provided with suitable materials to contain spills.
